Darlene’s family has created a petition to advocate for the suspect DNA to be compared to the partial DNA sample that was recovered from Darlene’s blouse. A calendar in the original case file shows Xs marked on August 17, 20 and 22. It’s unclear if the calendar belonged to an investigator, or if it was found in the person of interest’s possession. Darlene was abducted on the 17th and the person of interest said he was injured at work on the 20th and the 22nd is the day he reported the injury to his employer.
